Ethiopia. South Omo Zone. Salamago district. Hana (little village). Bodi tribe. Nomadic. Inside a hut, young girls are waiting for the tetanos vaccination made by the non-governmental organization (NGO) Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Switzerland as part of its health project. MSF inoculate children and young girls (future mothers). Bodi women and girls like to have artistic and stylish haircuts. They wear metal bands on their wrist (silver bracelets) and their dresses are made out of cow's leather. The Bodi tribe is located in the Debub Omo Zone (South Omo Zone) of the Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples's région. © 2001 Didier Ruef
