USA. Louisiana. New Orleans. Orleans Parish. 9th Ward area. The 9th Ward used to be the living place of the black (afro-american) community . Aftermath of hurricane Katrina. The interior of a poor house (clothes, fan, bed, shelves, door, furniture) destroyed by the floods, like all houses of the area. The area is empty and all its inhabitants have left the town. The people could no longer and ever live again in the houses because of the destructions due to the floods, the water and the mold. The entire area needs to be bulldozed before any new construction can be built. Household waste. © 2005 Didier Ruef
