USA. Colorado state. Denver. The warehouse of Medicine Man at 4750 Nome St. in an industrial section of Denver's Montbello neighborhood. Sixty-five video cameras are trained on the property and security guards patrol the alley and control the entrance. The Green Cross flag is the symbol of a Medical Marijuana Dispensary. Medicine Man began nearly six years ago as a small medical marijuana operation and has since grown to be the largest single marijuana dispensary, both recreational and medical, in the state of Colorado and has aspirations of becoming a national brand if pot legalization continues its march. Cannabis, commonly known as marijuana, is a preparation of the Cannabis plant intended for use as a psychoactive drug and as medicine. Pharmacologically, the principal psychoactive constituent of cannabis is tetrahydrocannabinol (THC); it is one of 483 known compounds in the plant, including at least 84 other cannabinoids, such as cannabidiol (CBD), cannabinol (CBN), tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCV), and cannabigerol (CBG). 19.12.2014 © 2014 Didier Ruef
