Switzerland. Canton Geneva. Anières. An old woman is sunbathing near the lake Geneva. The boat Savoie is mooring alongside the wharf of Anières. The Savoie is one of eight paddle wheel steamers, owned and ran by the Compagnie Générale de Navigation sur le lac Léman (CGN). The ship was built in 1914 during the Belle Époque's time  a period in European social history that began during the late 19th century and lasted until 1914.
