Switzerland. Canton Valais. Aletsch glacier area. At the end of the season spent by sheeps in mountain pastures, eight shepherds go to collect 2200 animals in order to bring them back to Belalp. The Valais Blacknose (German: Walliser Schwarznasenschaf) is a breed of domestic sheep originating in the Valais region. It is a dual-purpose breed, raised both for meat and for wool.
