Switzerland. Canton Ticino. Barbengo. Elementary school. Don Gerald Chukwudi Ani is a catholic priest from Nigeria. He teaches religions’ history to children. Wearing a boubou printed with lion's heads and a red hat, he sits on the floor. His two legs surround a crucifix one meter in height. He has on his left a paschal candle which will be lit on the occasion of the solemn celebrations of the Easter vigil, to mark the expectation of the resurrection of Christ. On his right, placed on a chair, olive branches recall the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem under the cheering of the crowd waving palms. Drawings on the wall. Barbengo is a quarter of the city of Lugano. 23.03.2018 © 2018 Didier Ruef
